The Get Ready GEAR UP Minnesota Entrepreneurial Conference took place on May 5th at Coffman Memorial Union on the University of Minnesota campus, bringing together rising 9th graders and graduating seniors from ten Get Ready middle and high schools across the metro for a day focused on college, careers, and postsecondary planning. Led by the American School of Entrepreneurship, which brought an engaging and energetic approach to the event, the conference featured interactive activities, guest speakers, and hands-on workshops.
Seniors attended sessions centered on planning for life after high school, while rising 9th graders explored their interests, goals, and the steps they can take as they prepare for high school and beyond. The event provided students with valuable opportunities to build confidence, connect with new ideas, and explore pathways for their futures.
