Welcome to the Postsecondary Access Champions Initiative, a statewide effort led by Get Ready GEAR UP to support high schools serving large populations of low-income students with targeted resources and support to improve postsecondary readiness and access. By meeting key milestones, schools earn recognition as Postsecondary Access Champions, demonstrating their commitment to building stronger communities and a more skilled workforce through educational opportunity.

Postsecondary Readiness Assessment
Complete the Get Ready GEAR UP Minnesota Postsecondary Readiness Assessment
Deadline: January 1st

College Knowledge Month
Participate in College Knowledge Month by holding at least one college application event and one college knowledge workshop or presentation.
Deadline: November 30th

FAFSA Challenge
Have a FAFSA completion rate of at least 60% or increase FAFSA completion by 5% or more over the previous year.
Deadline: FAFSA Challenge ends May 1st
